I had a friend in Mendocino who did just that. Off he'd go with his little wax figures to an Italian foundry. He'd hang out and enjoy while the first bronzes were cast and proofed. Re: Classical images; doncha love the Getty in Malibu? That's Italy for an afternoon. They're very kid friendly,too...
